Jenni’s original training was as a nurse and then a midwife.
Although Jenni was often frustrated by practices in the health service, she worked as a midwife for 17 years, supporting women to have the types of births they chose. Jenni has extensive experience of home birth and of working with pregnant women and mothers with mental health problems.
While working in the NHS Jenni trained as an Okido Yoga teacher, a form of Japanese Yoga incorporating elements of marshal arts and corrective exercises. She also completed her training as a craniosacral therapist and then studied to be a natural nutritionist. Jenni also has a B.Sc. Hons. Degree in Human Biology.
In her work as a craniosacral therapist, Jenni works with adults as well as with children of all ages and with varying conditions. Her aim as a therapist is to work in an integrated way acknowledging the connections between mind, emotion, body, spirit and environment both local and universal.
